Wayfinders (“we”, “us”) is a community learning platform at wayfindersplatform.com, run from Bali, Indonesia. This policy explains what information we collect when you use Wayfinders, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
- Account details: your name, email address and password, or, if you sign in with Google, your name, email address and profile picture from your Google account.
- Community activity: posts, comments, lesson progress, points, level and any files you upload.
- Payment details: if you pay for a community or membership, payments are handled by our payment providers (Mayar and PayPal). We receive confirmation of the payment, but we do not see or store your full card or bank details.
- Contact details: if you give us a phone number, we may use it to send WhatsApp messages about your account or classes.
- Technical data: basic logs such as browser type, device and IP address, used to keep the service running and secure.
How we use your information
- To create and manage your account and let you sign in.
- To run your communities, classrooms, levels and points.
- To process payments and subscriptions.
- To send you emails or WhatsApp messages about your account, classes and important changes.
- To keep Wayfinders safe and fix problems.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.
Google sign-in
If you choose “Sign in with Google”, we only receive your basic profile: name, email address and profile picture. We use this only to create your Wayfinders account and sign you in. We do not access your Gmail, Google Drive, contacts or any other Google data. Our use of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Who we share it with
We share information only with the service providers we need to run Wayfinders:
- Supabase: database, login and file storage.
- Vercel: website hosting.
- Mayar and PayPal: payments.
- Resend: sending emails.
- Fonnte: sending WhatsApp messages.
Community owners can see the activity of members in their own community. Other members of a community can see what you post there. We may also share information if required by law.
How long we keep it
We keep your information while your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete or anonymise your personal information within 30 days, except where we must keep records (for example, payment records) by law.
Your choices
- You can view and update your profile in your account.
- You can ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it, or to delete your account by emailing us.
- You can remove Wayfinders’ access to your Google account at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
Security
We use secure connections (HTTPS) and trusted providers to protect your information. No online service is 100% secure, but we work to keep your data safe.
Children
Wayfinders is not intended for children under 13 without the involvement of a parent, guardian or school.
Changes to this policy
If we make important changes, we will update this page and the date at the top.
